FAX+ is an optional subscription service that can be activated on ANY fax2email number, while providing international and cellular calls to 0866 numbers as well as additional fax archiving space.

FAX+ BENEFITS

a) International & Cellular Faxes

Receive faxes from any international or cellular network on your 0866 number.

The caller simply dials +27866xxxxx as with any other number.

Subscriptions on 011 and 084 numbers already receive calls from any network.

b) Extra Archiving

We normally keep copies of your faxes for 5 calendar days, with FAX+ enabled we will keep copies for 90 calendar days. You can retrieve a copy of your fax by simply logging into your account, clicking on Reports, followed by FAX2EMAIL.

1.  Will I receive calls from any network, world-wide, on my 0866 number ?

Telkom has contacted all their interconnect networks and requested that they enable access to 0866 numbers, this however does not guarantee that the interconnect network in question has done so. We have however successfully tested the facility from Europe, UK, USA & China. 

2.  How do I give out my 0866 number to international callers, once FAX+ is enabled ?

The format is normally +27866xxxxxx, the caller would normally dial their international prefix (in most countries this is 00), followed by 27 followed by your 0866 number, without the leading zero. Example: 0027866500000.

3.  Can I enable FAX+ on any of type of fax number ?

Yes.
