We give you a dedicated fax number and then we forward all your faxes to your email address. You can choose a combination of the following options:

FREEFAX : (IT'S FREE!)

You pay NOTHING. It's FREE !! There is no cost to the receiver of a fax, i.e. YOU, however the sender of the fax to your computer from a normal fax machine will be charged R2.02 per minute on a 086XXXXXXX .

086XXXXXXX numbers can only be called from TELKOM, NO INTERNATIONAL FAXES AND NO FAXES FROM CELLULAR NETWORKS.

LOCALFAX :

The number is on the Johannesburg, South Africa prefix, starting with 27(0)11xxxxxxx. This number can be dialed from International destinations and the caller pays normal Telkom call rates.

You pay a subscription fee of R550.00 (excl VAT) per year, which includes 1200 incoming faxes (not pages), additional faxes can be purchased at R50.00 per 100. The caller pays normal Telkom rates. Your faxes are saved/archived for 5 calendar days

FAX+ :

This is an OPTIONAL monthly subscription service that enables international calls/faxes on 0866 numbers PLUS your faxes are saved/archived for 90 calendar days.

FAX+ can be added to any of the above number types.

You send us an Email and we deliver it as a fax, to all major destinations world-wide.

Sending faxes from your computer will be charged per minute at the following rates:

Sending faxes from your E-mail within a 50km radius of Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Rosebank-Johannesburg.	R0.77
Sending faxes from your E-mail outside the 50km radius mentioned above but within the boundaries of South Africa and excluding cellular and premium rated numbers.	R1.06
Sending faxes from your E-mail to cellular or premium rated numbers.	R2.40
Sending faxes from your E-mail to international destinations.	R4.00

The minimum charge is one minute, thereafter the charge is calculated per second. There are no fixed fees, and you only pay for the time spend delivering the fax. There is no charge for the retries we perform and you only pay once the fax is successfully delivered. Delivery reports are free. All transactions are strictly pre-paid.

Fax2Email Fax Units: R50 per 100

Only applicable to customer with LOCALFAX accounts. This feature allows you to purchase additional fax units once your 1200 faxes have been depleted.
